4.5 stars.Every time I read a book by JCP, it’s like I read something completely new in our genre, something that is so creative and extraordinary and special that I can’t help but be impressed. Needless to say I felt the same way with “The Starving Years”. Absolutely stunning and engrossing! I only wished I could have read a little bit more about Nelson, Tim and Javier - especially about their relationship.
