Nova

So, obviously I like books.

Books with two men (or sometimes more).

You know what I mean. ;)

Burn - T.J. Klune I’m not quite sure how to rate this book.
Burn was a lot of things: refreshing, exciting, surprising, but at times also boring or tedious.
I loved the action, Seven’s rough side or the use of elemental powers.
But the flashbacks and the repetitiveness (in some parts of the book) were just exhausting.
Better - Jaime Samms Better was a great, emotional read.

Jesse and Aadon both have their issues and problems, but I never got the feeling that one of them behaved like a whiny 10-year-old. They’re adults dealing with reality.

What else can I say? I loved to see how Aadon cared for Jesse and his brother and the last chapter was just wonderful! Now I wish Ricky would also find happiness. :)
The Pauper Prince (Changing Moon, #1) - Sui Lynn DNF... I should have known better...
By His Rules - J. A. Rock

3.5 stars.

Aiden was a cheerful, beautiful and confident young man, until he met Scott.

I found it interesting (“liked it” would be the wrong words) to see how Aiden changed because of Scott, how he lost his joy.
Thankfully Aiden finally found what he really wanted – Keaton and a loving, domestic discipline relationship. ;)

A Note in the Margin - Isabelle Rowan I laughed and cried! A Note in the Margin is such a beautiful book!
I really loved how John and David slowly learned to trust and love each other and how they built a life together! ♥
Break and Enter - Rachel Haimowitz, Aleksandr Voinov I want my own Bear! Or Cyke! Or his technology (maybe not the eye…) – nah, all of them!
Seriously, the world was fascinating and I loved the characters. It could have been a little bit longer, but since it's the start of a new series I’m still happy. ;)
And I loved how Cyke got his name! Smilie by GreenSmilies.com
Dawn of Darkness (Daeva, #1) - Daniel A. Kaine 4.5 stars.
Dawn of Darkness has everything I love about a good book:
A fascinating story, unique characters (I love Daniel! Smilie by GreenSmilies.com), action, romance and even a little bit of horror! Oh! And a REALLY unexpected ending!
Can’t wait for the next book! Smilie by GreenSmilies.com
SPOILER ALERT!
The Ghost on My Couch - L.A. Gilbert

4.5 stars.
Aww, what a sweet and lovely story! Reading about Alex, Sid and Baldrick was so much fun! And Andy must be the best friend ever! ;)
My only complaint: **Spoiler** I wished that Sid could remember his time as a ghost…**Spoiler end**

Match Maker Match Maker - Alan Chin 4.5 stars.

Match Maker is a beautifully written story which shows that it's worth fighting for your dreams and your love. Definitely recommended! Even if you don't know anything about tennis.
It's Not Shakespeare - Amy Lane A sweet story about a college professor and his young boyfriend. There isn't much drama or conflict, which was a bit disappointing. But it was an easy, light read for in between.
Muscling Through - J.L. Merrow A beautiful and heart-warming story! Loved it!
First Watch - Peter Hansen

3.5 stars.
Like others mentioned before, there isn't much romance in First Watch, but I didn't mind! The contract between Edouard and the captain, Edouard's past, his friend and lover Farid – the whole story was fascinating. But I would have liked it more if it was longer.
Oh, and strangely enough, at the end of the story I felt sorry for the captain...

Collared - Kari Gregg

3.5 stars. :)
Mutated food changed Connor and the world he is living in and now he wants nothing more than someone who can keep him safe. I really liked this idea! I only wish we could have read more about the new world, the changes or how it all started. Nevertheless, I liked this story! Connor is such a sweetie - I wanted to cuddle and protect him! And David and Emmett are just the right men for him.

Basic Training - Marquesate Realistic characters + a great story = Loved it!
Dark Edge of Honor - Aleksandr Voinov, Rhi Etzweiler This certainly isn't a book about a sweet romance – it's a book about war, trust, duty, honor and also love. The beginning is a bit slow, but after that I could barely put this book down. Mike and Sergei's story is dark, violent and at times heartbreaking. And boy, am I glad it all ended well! I nearly cried as Sergei struggled against death and was about to lose the first man he really loved. I felt so sorry for both of our heroes.
Trust Me If You Dare (Romano and Albright, #2) - L.B. Gregg Funny and sexy! I love these guys! I really hope there will be more. :)
